Carrying the Legacy Forward

Participating in the Green Triangle YPA project has been a truly transformative journey for me. Over the past year, I’ve not only developed my organizational skills but also played a crucial role in raising awareness about environmental issues. One of the most rewarding experiences was organizing the Green Book Swap event at the Alternative Youth Center in Yerevan, which fostered a sense of community and shared responsibility for our planet.
I’m especially proud of organizing a meeting at the European Commission and leading a visit to the Bureau International Jeunesse (BIJ) office, both of which provided invaluable learning opportunities for our group. These experiences have deepened my understanding of sustainable practices and the importance of youth participation in environmental activism.
I am incredibly grateful to Unigrowth Development Center for giving me this chance to grow both personally and professionally. Their support has been instrumental in making this project a success, and I look forward to continuing my journey in making a positive impact on our environment.

The Green Triangle YPA project, from A to Z, reinforced my belief that teamwork is essential and can make the impossible possible. The program included several informative and interactive sections, where the main work was done not by the organizers but by us as a team. This approach gave us the opportunity to develop our skills, gain experience, and, of course, express ourselves.
Some key aspects of the program included management skills, time management, teamwork, overcoming language barriers, and negotiation and presentation skills.
Especially challenging for me were our meetings with decision-makers, during which we presented our vision, shared concerns, discussed possible solutions, and emphasized the involvement of young people in addressing environmental problems.

It has been an incredible journey being a part of “The Green Triangle” YPA. This was my first long-term program, and it left me with some of the best memories, knowledge, and skills I could have ever hoped for. I am deeply grateful to Unigrowth DC, and especially to Tamara, for giving me this opportunity. It has truly changed my life for the better.
Through this program, I have gained invaluable skills in facilitating and time management, and I’ve deepened my understanding of the environmental challenges we face and how we can work together to protect our planet.
The program was not without its challenges, but these moments were also some of the most rewarding. One of the most memorable experiences for me was organizing an awareness-raising meeting in my hometown. It was the first time I wasn’t just a participant but the organizer, and it was a profound learning experience. Participating in the hackathon in Slovakia was also a highlight. Although I knew what a hackathon was, being an active participant was another kind of enjoyment and exhilarating experience.
I am genuinely happy to have been a part of this program, and I know that I will use the all skills I’ve learned w for the rest of my life.
And once again I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Tamara for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity.

Joining the Green Triangle YPA project has been an amazing journey that has helped grow both personally and professionally. Especially bearing in mind that it was my first YPA. I learned a lot about protecting the environment and how to effectively spread awareness about it. The project also taught me important skills like leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
One of the most memorable experiences was organizing my first workshop in my hometown. It was challenging but very rewarding. Working with young people in Aparan was also great because it let me connect with the community and promote sustainability together.
Another special moment was visiting the Bureau International Jeunesse and the European Commission in Brussels. Meeting with leaders there gave me a better understanding of how environmental policies are created and implemented. I am very grateful to the Unigrowth Development Center for this opportunity. The knowledge and skills I gained from this project will definitely help me in the future.Special thanks to Tamara

I’ve learned a lot about eco-sustainability and effective methods for raising environmental awareness. This project has significantly contributed to my personal and professional development, providing me with practical skills and a deeper understanding of global and local sustainability efforts.
One of the key moments of this journey was organizing my first workshop in Vanadzor. This initial challenge proved to be both educational and fulfilling. Additionally, working with young people in Aparan allowed me to engage directly with the community and further spread the message of sustainability.
